Zardozi means “gold thread” or “writing with gold”. Zardozi work is an elaborate and intricate art of 3D embroidery done carefully stitching layer upon layer of threads and metal wires and embellished with precious or semi precious gemstones making each piece one of its kind.

Zardozi was introduced into India by the ruling Mughals in the early 16th century and was used initially to adorn the robes of the royal families. Now you too can own a wearable work of art, once reserved only for royalty.
