Largest replica of mughal peacock throne


The peacock throne measures 5′ 10″ by 3′ 10″ and 2′ 10″. It has 16 panels around the setting platform. The platform has 8 pillars and 8 columns embroidered and studded with amethysts , rubies and topaz.



The arches are embroidered and studded with emeralds, rubies, sapphires, pearls and other gems, in design resembling the arches of the Taj Mahal. The roof is also embroidered with gems and, like the original, there are two peacocks on the roof.
The spread and pillows are also be-jeweled. The flowers in the panels involve from 1,500 to 15,000 stitches each in hundreds of flowers.
